Euphoria/Dysphoria explores a series of extremes—ones that can be quantified and ones that cannot. It shares both the dysphoric and euphoric thoughts of transgender men, and transmasculine and non-binary people. Empty gel packets of testosterone, a hormone replacement therapy drug that must be taken every day, line the pages of this book. In the first half, they cover every page, and the dysphoric thoughts are forced into the rigid grid system they create. In the second half, the packets disappear into the French fold and euphoric thoughts break out of the grid system to flow freely across the pages.
